wonderworld is a place in the imaginations of the pupils at Stanford Infants School, Brighton. The school is created and recreated through daily use and multiple perceptions: the gymnasium becomes the dining area becomes the assembly hall, and outside, the playground becomes the moon becomes a beach becomes wembley stadium. The ways in which the everyday becomes epic, and the ways in which pupils occupy, organize, animate and navigate physical and fictional worlds were explored in a series of sessions, using drawing and digital processes. The fantastic journeys and incredible events possible in wonderworld are mapped in an interactive CD.
